Installation of the client

First of all, you have to download the client software from Electronic Arts, which you can download here: http://www.uo.com/uoml/downloads.shtml

After that, you just start the Link created in your start menu/desktop. This will start patching your client to the most recent version.

Connecting to the shard

There are different solutions to connect to the shard. Here you will find three of them.

login.cfg

just change your login.cfg to this

UO Gateway

Go to www.uogateway.com and download there the latest client version. After that, you select Vetus-Mundus in the public serverlist.

ConnectUO

Similar to UO Gateway. Just go to www.connectuo.com and download the latest client. Then select Vetus-Mundus from the serverlist.

Creating an account

It is quite easy to create an account. You just start your Ultima Online-Client (if you are using UO Gateway or ConnectUO, you must start your client via the tool by double-clicking the shard of your choice) and in the login screen, you choose an account-name and a password. Then you can create a character.

Logging into Vetus-Mundus

Similar to [Creating an account], you just have to fill in your account-name and your password of the account you created.
